Airlift to Mexico is Plentiful and Convenient—and Keeps Getting Better

When meeting and incentive planners are researching different international destinations that could possibly host their groups, among their first and foremost considerations is airlift. Even on itineraries as long as seven, eight or ten days, attendees simply have no appetite for scheduling inconvenience. This inconvenience could come in the form of not enough options each day to the international destination, or in the form of long layovers at domestic hubs while waiting for that international flight.
There’s one country, however, that has a noticeable advantage with its airlift from the United States to several of its meeting and incentive destinations: Mexico. From San Francisco, Los Angeles and Phoenix in the west; from Denver, Dallas, Houston and Chicago in the central; and from Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Atlanta and Miami in the east, there are several flights each day to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos. And Seattle, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, and Charlotte have at least one flight each day to those destinations too.
For meeting and incentive planners who are looking at a property within Hard Rock Hotels All-Inclusive Collection, this airlift makes things quite easy and attractive for their programs. With resorts in Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Puerto Vallarta—and with a new build in the works in Los Cabos—the All-Inclusive Collection is able to maximize attendees’ business and leisure time thanks to airlift choices that minimize travel time. Cost is favorable to these destinations versus others in the Caribbean and Latin America as well.
What’s more, American Airlines just recently announced an airlift development that strengthens Mexico’s advantage: Additional direct flights from LAX to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Cancun. With the U.S. economy picking up in the past year and many meetings and incentives looking hard at Mexico as a potential destination, the robust airlift from several hubs around the U.S. will surely help to keep Hard Rock Hotels All-Inclusive Collection top of mind among planners.
